MUSE BRASSERIE are delighted to host author, photographer and founder of ‘Women of Spirit’, Susie Mackie, during the Cheltenham Literature Festival on Wednesday October 9, when she will present Unbreakable Spirit: How I Faced Adversity, and Won – and How You Can Too.
Over a delicious supper and wine from 6pm – 8.30pm, now author of two books; Women of Spirit – Ordinary Women, Extraordinary Lives, Susie will share her rollercoaster life story with no holds barred, speaking about her life’s purpose in showing other women facing challenges that they are not alone, that there is a future – even when things look bleak. Tips for self-love and the art of indulgence will enable you to leave the event with a little more spring in your step.
Susie’s books are created to empower women to lead a life full of confidence and strong self-worth. Unique anthologies of seemingly ‘ordinary’ women who all dug deep and found ways to rise up and away from times of despair harness the power of storytelling and are full of guidance and inspiration. Plus there is a double treat on the night as Muse Brasserie will also host the powerful and moving writer and poet, Drea Macmillan in the guest speaker slot.
